Liquefied Natural Gas Desk
Tullett Prebon LNG was established in October 2007. The desk’s primary objective is to facilitate the global transaction of LNG through improving market transparency, identifying trading opportunities and structuring spot deals. Since its inception the desk has successfully transacted cargoes into both Europe and the Far East. Tullett Prebon LNG acts purely as an introducer between buyers and sellers of LNG and does not take title.
Tullett Prebon LNG also works with its client base on transactions involving the marketing of re-gas capacity, entry strategy and portfolio optimisation.
In 2010, Tullett Prebon LNG launched the first online screen for short and medium-term LNG cargoes. The LNG screen is designed for the fast communication of spot trade interests and to meet the growing need for greater price transparency. tpFLOW offers clients free access to real-time prices and the ability to use the screen to instantly and anonymously inform all other participants of any need to purchase or sell a cargo. Bids and Offers for LNG cargoes will be posted on the screen once confirmed by a Tullett Prebon LNG Broker.
In a bid to improve trade transparency, Tullett Prebon LNG has established itself as a leading provider of LNG Market Intelligence publishing the North West European LNG Report and collaborating with Lloyd's Marine Intelligence Unit on the daily Global LNG Tracker and monthly LNG Trade Report. All our reports are delivered via email in MS Excel for ease of analysis and data manipulation.
