SELECTION PROCESS FAQs

  • What happens to my data after I submit my application form?
By storing and submitting your information you are agreeing to your application data being processed for the purposes of:
    - communication regarding recruitment with prospective employers and you
    - consideration of your applications and your recruitment by prospective employers

WebSAF functionality allows candidates to upload commonly asked personal details into an online application form. This information is only uploaded to an employer's online form at the candidate's request. The candidate then has the opportunity to edit any of this information and must then decide to submit it to that employer. We may monitor your use of this website and record your email address for our internal purposes.
  • I've just logged in for the first time and you've already got my details in the system but they are out of date, how has this happened?
WebSAF stores the last details that the candidate has inputted. You can edit the old details that appear, save new details, and continue with your application. If the candidate makes future applications using their WebSAF profile, the latest updated Personal Details will appear.
  • I've just logged in for the first time and you've already got my details in the application form system, where did they come from?
When candidates register and start an application to any of WCN's clients a WebSAF (Web Standard Application Form) profile is created. Candidates can then use these login details to apply to other vacancies and other WebSAF application forms. If you have used WebSAF before or you start another application form designed by another WCN client your login detail and any commonly asked questions will be transferred. You can edit your details and submit their application. The advantage of this is that they will not have to fill in their Personal Details each time they begin a new application. Please note: Individual WCN Clients can only access applicant data once the candidate reads the declaration and submits their application to that company.
  • I am a returning candidate how can I check the progress of my application?
