Tankard Natural Gas Indices
The Tankard Indices, including the "Tankard All Day" and "Tankard 1530" Indices, are calculated and published by Tankard on behalf of Tullett Prebon, ICAP and Marex Spectron. Comprising Day-Ahead, Weekend-Ahead and Month-Ahead indices for UK and European natural gas hubs, the family of indices provides a comprehensive coverage of the OTC market.
Tankard is a series of trade-backed, volume-weighted average price indices for NBP, TTF, NCG and GASPOOL. The trades which make up the Tankard indices are arranged by Tullett Prebon, Marex Spectron and ICAP. Typically these are physically-settled natural gas forwards, executed between utilities, natural gas producers, hedge funds, banks and trading houses.
